Stowe City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobias Holzwart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 7th minute, Sigi Verschüren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Ricky Gardner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesper Bohnacker. If Fredi Pahlke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Stowe City getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Kenneth Sargent hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the game, Fredi Pahlke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Dillon Yoder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricky Gardner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesper Bohnacker having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bülent Appelt in the 25th minute of play forced Stowe City's goalkeeper Dillon Yoder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricky Gardner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Jesper Bohnacker made a huge save. In the 29th minute of the match Stowe City got a corner. Fc Schönhagen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laurence Hanley ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Laurence Hanley almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fc Schönhagen's Jesper Bohnacker did a great save. Ricky Gardner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Bohnacker having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Stowe City got a freekick which was hit by Lyle Dill. If Alf Spinrath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dillon Yoder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredi Pahlke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Stowe City's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Holzwart came free, but Dillon Yoder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fredi Pahlke to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Holzwart in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dillon Yoder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lyle Dill's late challenge caught a Fc Schönhagen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lyle Dill helped the player get up and apologised. Lyle Dill hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Ricky Gardner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes, Fc Schönhagen's Bülent Appelt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dillon Yoder came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fc Schönhagen reached it. In the 60th minute Tobias Holzwart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dillon Yoder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dillon Yoder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Spinrath in the 64th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Stowe City got a freekick which was hit by Nolan Hollis. Stowe City made a substitution. Sanford Aldrich replaced Homer Schmidt. The supporters of Fc Schönhagen booed when Stowe City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nolan Hollis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mike Iggelheimer during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wilhelm Schwering's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dillon Yoder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Spinrath in the 82nd minute of play forced Stowe City's goalkeeper Dillon Yoder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stowe City's Dillon Yoder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Stowe City from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute Alf Spinrath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dillon Yoder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dillon Yoder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredi Pahlke, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Wilhelm Schwering fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dillon Yoder having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Wilhelm Schwering recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dillon Yoder. Wilhelm Schwering showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5.
