The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geleberto Acaro during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 2 played minutes Universitario got a freekick which was hit by Geleberto Acaro. If Aintza Cienfuegos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geleberto Acaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastia Coira having to interfere. Matro Perramon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anartz Buendia in the 20th minute of play. Matro Perramon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aintza Cienfuegos, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Universitario's Geleberto Acaro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Matro Perramon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemencin Echeto in the 27th minute of play. Aintza Cienfuegos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aintza Cienfuegos scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matro Perramon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Sobrado hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Geleberto Acaro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bastia Coira, 1-1. In the 43rd minute Jordi Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matro Perramon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemencin Echeto took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matro Perramon. Matro Perramon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemencin Echeto to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anartz Buendia got free with Matro Perramon in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aintza Cienfuegos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karlo Gavilanes to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Somellera came free, but Bastia Coira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jordi Morales came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Matro Perramon could save by the left post. Matro Perramon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frechoso Mondejar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71stth minute of the game Geleberto Acaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Bastia Coira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Garcia Gorostieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Universitario's Matro Perramon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Universitario from getting a goal against them. Matro Perramon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anartz Buendia in the 76th minute of play. Matro Perramon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anartz Buendia in the 77th minute of the match. Andy Somellera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastia Coira having to interfere. The supporters of Universitario booed when C.D. Ciudad de Soria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urtzi Canyelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matro Perramon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemencin Echeto in the 83rd minute of play. Garcia Gorostieta hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The supporters of Universitario booed when C.D. Ciudad de Soria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Sans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Bonifacio Morentin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bastia Coira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Universitario's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Aintza Cienfuegos scored to the left of an out of position Matro Perramon, making the score, 1-3.
