After a defensive mix-up in ŠK Horelica's zone, Duarte Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jozef Adamica came out of the goal and Duarte Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Percy Palmeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jozef Adamica having to make a save. With his leg Wilson Travassos managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when ŠK Horelica's Mário Štrbák fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Mário Štrbák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Štrbák in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Angelo Secco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SANTOS F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ŠK Horelica the free kick. After 22 played minutes SANTOS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Secco. Benjamin Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes SANTOS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Percy Palmeira. In the 30th minute, František Kazár left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ŠK Horelica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a little luck, SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos got control of the ball when Mário Štrbák tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, SANTOS F.C's Danilo Nóbrega got a free kick in the 38th minute. Mário Štrbák took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Travassos. Wilson Travassos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mário Štrbák made a kick off. When František Kazár came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the ŠK Horelica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that František Kazár couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the game, Danilo Nóbrega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SANTOS F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ŠK Horelica the free kick. Wilson Travassos had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping František Kazár's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. František Kazár took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Travassos. Wilson Travassos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. With his leg Jozef Adamica managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when SANTOS F.C's Benjamin Quirino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mário Štrbák struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Wilson Travassos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ŠK Horelica. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Quirino got free with Jozef Adamica in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Schuster hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes ŠK Horelica got a freekick which was hit by Mário Štrbák. After a rather tough play, SANTOS F.C's Enrique Reis got a free kick in the 89th minute. 97 minutes into the game, Benjamin Quirino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jozef Adamica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
