Marshrose's Baudouin Pope managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Daniel Lilley in the 9 minute of the game. Guy Bowen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Santiago Hatch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donald Marshall scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santiago Hatch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Santiago Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Russ Trueman in the 17th minute of the match. When Eddy Llewellyn came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Valencia C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddy Llewellyn couldn't finish the play. Santiago Hatch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Russ Trueman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Hatch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ethan Pritchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Russ Trueman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Hatch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Valencia C.F.'s Ethan Pritchard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santiago Hatch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Pat Stoner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marshrose's Santiago Hatch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ethan Pritchard in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goal looked a bit too open when Russ Trueman came free, but Santiago Hatch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ethan Pritchard in the 36th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Meunier to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Lilley kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Stéphane Dubose hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Santiago Hatch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Russ Trueman in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Russ Trueman to strike the kick off in the second half. Jay Jennings could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Santiago Hatch made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Russ Trueman in the 53rd minute of play forced Marshrose's goalkeeper Santiago Hatch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Jonathan Meunier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marshrose's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valencia C.F. the free kick. A collision led to Marshrose getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jonathan Meunier hit a great ball. Russ Trueman in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santiago Hatch, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 62nd minute Stéphane Dubose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Izzard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guy Bowen in the 64th minute of play forced Marshrose's goalkeeper Santiago Hatch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Ethan Pritchard. In the 70th minute, Zackary Jenkins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valencia C.F.'s Tony Izzard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frances Tisserand in the 77th minute of play. Frances Tisserand took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Izzard. Tony Izzard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Santiago Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Russ Trueman in the 86th minute of the match. Santiago Hatch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Russ Trueman in the 89th minute. The Marshrose fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Valencia C.F. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
