Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) After having played for 5 minutes, Rafael Morientes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fesport FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Morientes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eloy Pasqual came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the FMArgentina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Pasqual couldn't finish the play. Fesport FC's Alvaro Beloki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Panpili in the 14th minute of play. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Rafael Morientes sped through FMArgentina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulino Oroitz. In the 22nd minute Fesport FC were awarded a corner. Karamoko Elano went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Fesport FC's corner Karamoko Elano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulino Oroitz quite easily take care of the ball. Mergildo Landa kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Rafael Morientes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulino Oroitz. FMArgentina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Morientes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. A collision led to Fesport FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Tito Valdivia hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes FMArgentina got a freekick which was hit by Jose Bibiano. Rafael Morientes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Paulino Oroitz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Morientes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Morientes in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Oroitz saved FMArgentina from getting behind. Celso Macerio kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Rafael Morientes sped through FMArgentina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulino Oroitz. In the 65th minute, Tito Valdivia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fesport FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. If Rafael Morientes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victor Panpili was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. FMArgentina's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alvaro Beloki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Servando, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Mergildo Landa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Paulino Oroitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fesport FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FMArgentina had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
