Vitinho Cabral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kauan Lago went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the game, Xandeco FC's Caetano Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vitinho Cabral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 32nd minute, Rogério Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frédson Rosa took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldemar Torres. Waldemar Torres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. During the 37th minute of the match Caetano Mendonça completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Caetano Mendonça a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Caetano Mendonça hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.
