In the 6th minute, Ivan Billberg made a precise shot to the right of Tasos Giannou. O.T.E's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After having played for 9 minutes, Iason Kantimiris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. O.T.E's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iason Kantimiris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giorgos Digozis made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Antonis Klinakis immediately put the ball in play. The audience was convinced that Ivan Billberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tasos Giannou was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Tasos Giannou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Vallman in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Oskar Pihlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Paul Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paul Hellström took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tasos Giannou. Tasos Giannou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After the first half Strömsbro IF were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kyriakos Lilis hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Ivan Billberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, Nikolas Pavloulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tasos Giannou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Billberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tasos Giannou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paul Hellström went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Nikolas Pavloulis hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Ivan Billberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tasos Giannou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vassilis Symeonakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Olof Walroth having to interfere. Ivan Billberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Tasos Giannou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, O.T.E's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Hellström came free, but Tasos Giannou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
