Totin Smith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Gago in the 26th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, San Roque FC's Andrea Carreri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Hermano Sales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Carreri, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Marcos Toledano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Roque FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Toledano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lázaro Gago was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Tomaso Toledano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lázaro Gago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Totin Smith having to interfere. Micael Pádua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Totin Smith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of San Roque FC booed when FC Dezassete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Salazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Lázaro Gago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes FC Dezassete got a freekick which was hit by Hildeberto Durães. When Lorenzo Moscoso fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Roque FC's protests and gave Lorenzo Moscoso a yellow card for diving instead. Lorenzo Moscoso kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Andrea Carreri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermano Sales was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When Andrea Carreri came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the San Roque FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrea Carreri couldn't finish the play. San Roque FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
