Spectators: 7623 (Terracing: 5718, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valentin Strungă kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, FC MeHigh's Valentin Strungă got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Denílson Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when George Curteanu sent off a good shot on target. If Valentin Strungă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the game, FC MeHigh's Aristide Strungă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denílson Catarinense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Denílson Catarinense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristide Strungă in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Karavela's goalkeeper Denílson Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Nicolescu. Karavela's Denílson Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Strungă in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Nicolescu got free with Denílson Catarinense in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. George Curteanu took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denílson Catarinense. Denílson Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 18th minute, Guto Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Nicolescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Denílson Catarinense made a huge save. If George Curteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bruno Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Karavela getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Bruno Lopes hit a great ball. George Curteanu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Denílson Catarinense 26 minutes into the match. Manuel Nicolescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Denílson Catarinense came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Nicolescu slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 30th minute. Denílson Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Manuel Nicolescu sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Guto Rosado made the kick off in the second half. Karavela's Dino Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, FC MeHigh's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Rosado came free, but Basarab Bocșan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Nicolescu in the 56th minute of play forced Karavela's goalkeeper Denílson Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, FC MeHigh's Valentin Strungă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denílson Catarinense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. A collision led to Karavela getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Manuel Tavares hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes Karavela got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Tavares. After a rather tough play, Karavela's Luís Domingues got a free kick in the 64th minute. Karavela's Denílson Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Strungă in the 69th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, FC MeHigh's Valentin Strungă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denílson Catarinense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Denílson Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Strungă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Karavela's Basarab Bocșan threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guto Rosado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Karavela were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after FC MeHigh's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sílvio Luís Barral took the corner. The corner ended in Sílvio Luís Barral almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC MeHigh's Basarab Bocșan did a great save. During the 83rd minute of the match Bruno Lopes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bruno Lopes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 84th match minute, Karavela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Macaneață, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 88th minute, Manuel Nicolescu made a precise shot to the right of Denílson Catarinense. Karavela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. The supporters of FC MeHigh booed when Karavela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betinho Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Manuel Nicolescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Nicolescu struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Denílson Catarinense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC MeHigh. There was no doubt that FC MeHigh were the better team. FC MeHigh's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
