Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Adamantios Stavrakos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bruce Nesbitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adamantios Stavrakos in the 3rd minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Errikos Karachalios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyrus Crouch. Lipochσrion FC's Errikos Karachalios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Russ Thorne in the 16th minute of play. Bruce Nesbitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adamantios Stavrakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Lipochσrion FC's Errikos Karachalios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Lipochσrion FC from getting a goal against them. After 29 minutes of play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Cyrus Crouch made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Errikos Karachalios was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Cyrus Crouch kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Errikos Karachalios. That made the score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. Bruce Nesbitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adamantios Stavrakos in the 40th minute of the match. Bruce Nesbitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paraskevas Chronis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paraskevas Chronis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Lipochσrion FC's Adamantios Stavrakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruce Nesbitt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Aggelos Traganos came free, but Bruce Nesbitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyrus Crouch to strike the kick off in the second half. Paraskevas Chronis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Bruce Nesbitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adamantios Stavrakos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruce Nesbitt having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Koufakis in the 58th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Bruce Nesbitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louis Koufakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Bruce Nesbitt made a huge save. Errikos Karachalios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Willingham in the 65th minute of play. Adamantios Stavrakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Bruce Nesbitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Cosmos Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Beltre to maneuver through the defense. Christoforos Triantafyllou struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Bruce Nesbitt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lipochσrion FC. Paraskevas Chronis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruce Nesbitt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Russ Thorne made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Errikos Karachalios was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adamantios Stavrakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Nesbitt having to interfere. The Cosmos Soccer Club players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
