The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duarte Morientes during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Duarte Morientes kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Wesley Barbosa hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match Isidro Millán sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cauan Medeiros skillfully saved the ball. Walme Ortega stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matías Barreto's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Barreto in the 33rd minute of play forced CD Boiro's goalkeeper Walme Ortega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walme Ortega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Wesley Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Walme Ortega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Barreto in the 39th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matías Barreto got free with Walme Ortega in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matías Barreto was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Matías Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walme Ortega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, CD Boiro's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Barreto came free, but Walme Ortega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jerrold Valdivia fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Boiro's protests and gave Jerrold Valdivia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, one of CD Boiro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CD Boiro. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Isidro Millán managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Boiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Millán was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cauan Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in CD Boiro's zone, Matías Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walme Ortega came out of the goal and Matías Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Gerson Pombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Matías Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Master Champion BMX Flat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matías Barreto couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute Matías Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walme Ortega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Master Champion BMX Flat's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Millán came free, but Cauan Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CD Boiro's Walme Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Barreto in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the CD Boiro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Master Champion BMX Flat.
