Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) After a rather tough play, Tierra del Fuego FC's Gabriel Ermano got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 5 minutes Tierra del Fuego FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xabat Lariz who took care of the corner kick. 11 minutes into the game, CERRO PORTEÑO's Xabat Lariz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Handi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tierra del Fuego FC's Epifanio Handi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Tierra del Fuego FC from getting a goal against them. Epifanio Handi made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Macario Almodovar sent off a good shot on target. Xabat Lariz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Epifanio Handi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vincente Casuso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Handi was a little too slow when Macario Almodovar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. A collision led to Tierra del Fuego FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jacobo Fero hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Vincente Casuso made a precise shot to the right of Epifanio Handi. Tierra del Fuego FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Patricio Arixo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, CERRO PORTEÑO's Xabat Lariz tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

CERRO PORTEÑO's Adrian Salce was substituted for Santutxo Puelles. If Silvino Casasola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, Tierra del Fuego FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Fero to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Silvino Casasola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Tierra del Fuego FC defense, Vincente Casuso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Handi. The Tierra del Fuego FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Handi should have stopped the shot. After 74 minutes, Macario Almodovar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CERRO PORTEÑO and the Tierra del Fuego FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, CERRO PORTEÑO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macario Almodovar to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Damian Bernebe in the 80th minute really tested Perpinya Nevares's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Damian Bernebe kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Epifanio Handi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Macario Almodovar's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. There was no doubt that CERRO PORTEÑO were the better team. CERRO PORTEÑO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
