The corner led to Phoenix Fc's Ediberto Silveira getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ted Wiseman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio Bezerra having to interfere. Ted Wiseman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to T H F C getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jo Timiney hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Koehler in the 27th minute of play forced T H F C's goalkeeper Julian Goodwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes T H F C got a freekick which was hit by Kris Renner. The audience was convinced that Adhemar Teles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Goodwick was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Phoenix Fc's Luís Fábio Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Fc from getting a goal against them. Aloísio Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adhemar Teles was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Phoenix Fc getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Sidney Pombal hit a great ball. Ediberto Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ediberto Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of T H F C booed when Phoenix Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Ted Wiseman made a precise shot to the right of Luís Fábio Bezerra. Phoenix Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Phoenix Fc made a substitution. Luís Fabiano da Silveira replaced Luiz Paulo Brodel.
