The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, RoBen FC's Kjeld Heinstrøm got control of the ball when Nelsinho do Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Nelsinho do Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kjeld Heinstrøm was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Nelsinho do Vale's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Kjeld Heinstrøm skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kjeld Heinstrøm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelsinho do Vale in the 21st minute. With his leg Kjeld Heinstrøm managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Sangue nos Zóio's Nelsinho do Vale fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sangue nos Zóio's Nelsinho do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Borved charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Borved the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to RoBen FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ricardo Borved hit a great ball. Kjeld Heinstrøm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelsinho do Vale in the 34th minute. Kjeld Heinstrøm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho do Vale in the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Acácio Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sangue nos Zóio's supporters rose to their feet, but Acácio Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjeld Heinstrøm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kjeld Heinstrøm was a little too slow when Nelsinho do Vale got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-0. 47 minutes into the match, Nelsinho do Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kjeld Heinstrøm. RoBen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nelsinho do Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.

The wind increased when Svend Thyrri made the kick off in the second half. Edgar Freire scored 5-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kjeld Heinstrøm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kjeld Heinstrøm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho do Vale in the 67th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Nelsinho do Vale sped through RoBen FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kjeld Heinstrøm. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nelsinho do Vale in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjeld Heinstrøm saved RoBen FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Edgar Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sangue nos Zóio's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Freire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjeld Heinstrøm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jørg Kampma's late challenge caught a Sangue nos Zóio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jørg Kampma helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Jørg Kampma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kjeld Heinstrøm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Freire in the 85th minute of the match. Kjeld Heinstrøm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelsinho do Vale in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Nelsinho do Vale made a precise shot to the right of Kjeld Heinstrøm. RoBen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 98 minutes into the game, Sangue nos Zóio's Nelsinho do Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kjeld Heinstrøm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0.
