Sílvio Azenha scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Müfit Tolgahan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sílvio Azenha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes Valadas got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Azenha. 23 minutes into the game, Tarkan Akçay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samsunspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valadas the free kick. After 25 minutes, İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samsunspor and the Valadas players grew even worse after the yellow card. İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Casado made a kick off. Müfit Tolgahan made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Sílvio Azenha sent off a good shot on target. Sílvio Azenha struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Müfit Tolgahan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valadas. In the 57th minute, Valadas's Rodrigo Casado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Cláudio Candeias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Müfit Tolgahan came out and tried to block the shot, but Cláudio Candeias slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 60th minute. In the 69th minute, Rodrigo Casado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Müfit Tolgahan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Casado in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şafak Şeref in the 75th minute of play forced Valadas's goalkeeper Henrique Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Samsunspor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodrigo Casado was slow to take the kick. During this time Valadas's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Rodrigo Casado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Samsunspor's Müfit Tolgahan did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Samsunspor's zone, Paulo Eiró stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Müfit Tolgahan came out of the goal and Paulo Eiró tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91 played minutes Samsunspor got a freekick which was hit by Ergincan Ersoy. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Azenha got free with Müfit Tolgahan in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Sílvio Azenha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
