The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AnÐaRaHy's Vivaldo Vergílio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guilherme Palha, made in the 11th minute of the game. After 17 minutes, Natanael Cearense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AnÐaRaHy and the FC Beatriz 08 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Vilalobos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zé Carlos Vargas hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Pinhal in the 56th minute of play forced AnÐaRaHy's goalkeeper Maurício Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guilherme Palha's late challenge caught a AnÐaRaHy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guilherme Palha helped the player get up and apologised. Guilherme Palha kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elói Mandrak in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geraldo Poças prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benjamim Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Roberto Pinhal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Pedro Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Poças having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in AnÐaRaHy's zone, Joaquim Vilalobos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Correia came out of the goal and Joaquim Vilalobos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Beatriz 08's Gregório Brochado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AnÐaRaHy. After 76 played minutes AnÐaRaHy got a freekick which was hit by Téo de Sena. Danilo Macena missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 78 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Maurício Correia right hand side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AnÐaRaHy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
