Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Amadeo Rufio came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio FBPA's Andrézinho Quadros. But to his dismay, Andrézinho Quadros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Liberland's Eulalio Diagur got a free kick in the 12th minute. German Louis hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Cacá Veiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeo Rufio was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Liberland's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaston Iyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ronaldo Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Liberland's zone, Cacá Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Rufio came out of the goal and Cacá Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeo Rufio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Quadros in the 31st minute of the match. If Hector Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Nuñez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronaldo Ramos having to make a save. Andrézinho Quadros scored 2-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeo Rufio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the game, Silvinho Perez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio FBPA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liberland the free kick. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Grêmio FBPA! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cacá Veiga made a kick off. Cacá Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Rufio having to interfere. Andrézinho Quadros struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Amadeo Rufio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio FBPA. In the 56th minute, Sebastian Egoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Veiga in the 62nd minute of play forced Liberland's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislao Aguirre's late challenge caught a Grêmio FBPA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Aguirre helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Grêmio FBPA booed when Liberland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Aguirre didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 66 in the game by Cacá Veiga from a close distance when the talented Amadeo Rufio managed to make a qualified save. Liberland's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Grêmio FBPA's Cacá Veiga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amadeo Rufio. That made the score 3-3 after 70 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrézinho Quadros got free with Amadeo Rufio in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Túlio Novaes hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Ronaldo Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Criston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fernan Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Grêmio FBPA getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ulisses Prestes hit a great ball. Ronaldo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Criston in the 98th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
