Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) After having played for 5 minutes, Jorge Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barra Funda F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Alvarenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, Amílton Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernandão Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Jorge Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hortêncio Freire hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, Barra Funda F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Goiano to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelinho Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente do Vale having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Fred Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amílton Gomes in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tales Siqueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hortêncio Freire hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Barra Funda F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Coelho came free, but Clemente do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Norberto Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SeleSantos FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Marcelinho Teles hit a great ball. Fernandão Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes in the game, Norberto Goiano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tales Siqueira having to interfere. Bruninho Bueno struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Clemente do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SeleSantos FC. Bruninho Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Clemente do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelinho Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fred Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fred Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
