In the 16th minute Ezequiel Gasteiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Mikolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The tension between the C.A.JORGOVAN and the Club Atlethico Talleres players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ignored C.A.JORGOVAN's protests and gave Lázaro Qwinton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Lázaro Qwinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Ernesto Guillelmus in the 47th minute really tested Evaristo Delfino's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angel Medero made a kick off. A collision led to Club Atlethico Talleres getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nicanor Peio hit a great ball. Eulalio Colas's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Silvio Mikolas on his right side and into the goal. 53 minutes into the game it was 2-3. C.A.JORGOVAN were furious when Guido Bertol was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A.JORGOVAN! If Simon Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute, Angel Medero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvio Mikolas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Lázaro Qwinton hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Ernesto Guillelmus came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Club Atlethico Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Guillelmus couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Club Atlethico Talleres getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rodolfo Cuarto hit a great ball. Simon Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Mikolas having to interfere. When Angel Medero came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the C.A.JORGOVAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Medero couldn't finish the play. C.A.JORGOVAN's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
