Reinaud De Schutter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Aracatiara EC booed when KFC Paal-Tervant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Laureijs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovani Cearense in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reinaud De Schutter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 minutes of play, Aracatiara EC's Horácio Pontes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reinaud De Schutter was left in no man's land by his defense there! KFC Paal-Tervant's Manu Gyselinx got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Luckas De Wortelaers made a precise shot to the right of Toninho Tepedino. Aracatiara EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 22nd match minute, Aracatiara EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Doriva Paraense hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Aracatiara EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gunter Van Linthaudt came free, but Toninho Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Manu Gyselinx put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Toninho Tepedino. In the 35th minute Manu Gyselinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Amadeu Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaud De Schutter made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Horácio Pontes sent off a good shot on target. Reinaud De Schutter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovani Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Laureijs during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Laureijs kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manu Gyselinx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reinaud De Schutter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Cearense in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Gwenn Preuveneer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Paal-Tervant's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aracatiara EC the free kick. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KFC Paal-Tervant! Adilson Cabral shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The supporters of KFC Paal-Tervant booed when Aracatiara EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toninho Tepedino was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gunter Van Linthaudt. Manu Gyselinx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toninho Tepedino having to make a save. In the 67th minute of the match Gwenn Preuveneer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toninho Tepedino skillfully saved the ball. If Manu Gyselinx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, KFC Paal-Tervant's Wesley Pijps got a free kick in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Manu Gyselinx kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Toninho Tepedino. That made the score 1-4 in the 85 minute of play. Manu Gyselinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. KFC Paal-Tervant's David Laureijs shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 91st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Toninho Tepedino but with some difficulty. Luckas De Wortelaerss short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Toninho Tepedino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Giovani Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Gunter Van Linthaudt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Toninho Tepedino. Aracatiara EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KFC Paal-Tervant walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
