Lukas Apelkvist did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Roger Santos 5 minutes into the match. The supporters of Haymakers FC booed when JJTrips FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarl Granström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lukas Apelkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukas Apelkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Haymakers FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Kim Kullgren hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in JJTrips FC's zone, Jarl Granström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Santos came out of the goal and Jarl Granström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Haymakers FC booed when JJTrips FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Bo-Erik Sjöö managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haymakers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo-Erik Sjöö was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulisses Santos hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Bo-Erik Sjöö sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Broman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haymakers FC were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after JJTrips FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lukas Apelkvist took the corner. The corner led Haymakers FC's Lukas Apelkvist to fire away a dangerous shot which Roger Santos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Santos in the 30th minute of play forced Haymakers FC's goalkeeper Stig Brask to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Olle Samuelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jarl Granström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haymakers FC's goalkeeper Stig Brask, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Lukas Apelkvist came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Haymakers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukas Apelkvist couldn't finish the play. Lukas Apelkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Roger Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lukas Apelkvist made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Lukas Apelkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Santos was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 64 played minutes JJTrips FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardinho Palmeira. When Lukas Apelkvist came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Haymakers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukas Apelkvist couldn't finish the play. Roger Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Apelkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Ulisses Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JJTrips FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haymakers FC the free kick. After 70 played minutes JJTrips FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Santos. In the 74thth minute of the game Lukas Apelkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JJTrips FC's Roger Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, JJTrips FC's Inácio Massa got a free kick in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukas Apelkvist in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorginho Saldanha hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Lukas Apelkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Bo-Erik Sjöö managed to get in a good position for a shot. After having played for 94 minutes, Jarl Granström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haymakers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarl Granström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Haymakers FC were the better team. Haymakers FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
