After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Przemyslaw Domin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Griffins's supporters rose to their feet, but Przemyslaw Domin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pål Klintæus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Przemyslaw Domin struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Pål Klintæus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Griffins. Przemyslaw Domin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Dan Forsman. A collision led to BENA FK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Leif Hellström hit a great ball. BENA FK's Pål Klintæus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Przemyslaw Domin in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kryspin Cipinski in the 24th minute of play forced BENA FK's goalkeeper Pål Klintæus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of BENA FK booed when Griffins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kryspin Cipinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Östen Bennet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, BENA FK's Alf Dahlbom got a free kick in the 30th minute. Pål Klintæus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Przemyslaw Domin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Östen Bennet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zachariasz Mondrowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Östen Bennet slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute, Östen Bennet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zachariasz Mondrowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

Przemyslaw Domin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pål Klintæus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Przemyslaw Domin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Wincenty Kendra fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Griffins's protests and gave Wincenty Kendra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of BENA FK booed when Griffins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincenty Kendra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Przemyslaw Domin scored 2-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pål Klintæus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torbjörn Löfgren made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Griffins's Janusz Popowicz. Ragnar Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Östen Bennet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zachariasz Mondrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Bennet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Leif Hellström. After a rather tough play, BENA FK's Leif Hellström got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Kryspin Cipinski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Pål Klintæus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 95th match minute, Griffins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kryspin Cipinski to maneuver through the defense. BENA FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
