With 13 minutes on the clock, Ezequiel Cordearo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 12 minutes into the game, one of Xl Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Inge Darroja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Roman Porfiro made a huge save. Roman Porfiro was a little too slow when Lesardo Gaztañondo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Panguision in the 27th minute of play forced Xl Team's goalkeeper Roman Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Anastasio Vimaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lesardo Gaztañondo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roman Porfiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Lesardo Gaztañondo slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 39th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eulalio Paz to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Xl Team's goal looked a bit too open when Lesardo Gaztañondo came free, but Roman Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Vimaro kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Saturnino Arraya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Paz in the 55th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Bahiano Sanchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a left leg Roman Porfiro saved Xl Team from getting behind.
