In the 3rd minute, Teobaldo Herensuge reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcial Dantae. The goal made the score 1-0. When Teobaldo Herensuge came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Herensuge couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquilino Restu in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Dantae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anibal Fernendo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cosme Jago. 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 20 played minutes 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976 got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Palben. Baldomiro Gamus hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Herensuge came free, but Marcial Dantae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Dantae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Herensuge in the 28th minute of the match. When Armando Ralondo fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo's protests and gave Armando Ralondo a yellow card for diving instead. Marcial Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Herensuge in the 30th minute of play. Teobaldo Herensuge kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Candido Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Dantae having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Candido Ekain made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Dantae. Palermo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Ilixo in the 44th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Marcial Dantae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Palermo's Marcial Dantae got control of the ball when Candido Ekain tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Valentin Enekoitz made the kick off in the second half. Marcial Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Ilixo in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Baldomiro Gamus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cosme Jago. The goal made the score 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Valentin Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Enekoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Jago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Valentin Enekoitz hit a great ball. In the 64th minute of the match Evaristo Haimar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcial Dantae skillfully saved the ball. In the 66th minute, Valentin Enekoitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palermo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 71st match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Gamus to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Teobaldo Herensuge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Dantae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Fernendo to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Herensuge notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Palermo's Marcial Dantae. Marcial Dantae was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcial Dantae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Herensuge in the 85th minute of the match. Palermo's Marcial Dantae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Herensuge in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute Segundo Ilixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Dantae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Segundo Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Valentin Enekoitz got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Palermo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
