After 13 minutes of play, QUASAR AZULGRANA's Florencio Cutberto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. QUASAR AZULGRANA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredão Trevisan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 45 played minutes Locomotiva grena got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Trevisan. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredão Trevisan to make the kick off. Octavio Tirso scored 2-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Válbson Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Florencio Cutberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão Trevisan came free, but Bartolo Edwardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Edwardo made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Adelino Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. Locomotiva grena's Alfredão Trevisan got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Adelino Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartolo Edwardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After 70 played minutes Locomotiva grena got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Paulista. Adelino Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of QUASAR AZULGRANA booed when Locomotiva grena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Florencio Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. QUASAR AZULGRANA's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Cutberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Válbson Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florencio Cutberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Fernandez having to interfere. Válbson Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Cutberto in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Adelino Nascimento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bartolo Edwardo. Adelino Nascimento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. 90 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's goalkeeper Bartolo Edwardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adelino Nascimento. Florencio Cutberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Válbson Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavio Tirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Fernandez having to interfere.
