The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boran Gencal made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Cayetano Cebo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Amapola booed when Bozkurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özbek Betim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Remicio kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Ziya Tozun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Firme. Amapola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ziya Tozun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 96th minute Ziya Tozun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Firme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bozkurt had won after a very even match.
