After a rather tough play, The Obscurials's Bradley Moon got a free kick in the 27th minute. Hélder Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Otto Didlick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otto Didlick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The Floripa Lions FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Luciano Batista looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Floripa Lions FSCMZ reached it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brynn Mcenally to strike the kick off in the second half. Erik Schmidt hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 51 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Brynn Mcenally came free, but Evaristo Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Batista in the 79th minute of play forced The Obscurials's goalkeeper Otto Didlick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, The Obscurials's Ellis Sawbridge got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 84 played minutes The Obscurials got a freekick which was hit by Larkin Teuma. When Murdock Rosenboom fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Obscurials's protests and gave Murdock Rosenboom a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, The Obscurials was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murdock Rosenboom to maneuver through the defense.
