After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Armando Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Estevez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Luc Ettori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Anibal Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Arotza took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fermin Santos. Fermin Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ruben Cayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Santos having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Ruben Cayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GUSESI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Nacional the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Atlético Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Iago to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Luc Ettori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Precioso in the 32nd minute of play forced GUSESI's goalkeeper Jean-Luc Ettori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GUSESI's Jean-Luc Ettori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Efren in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 played minutes GUSESI got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Rafe. Evelio Refugio had several of the GUSESI's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Jean-Luc Ettori as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ignacio Confesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Luc Ettori having to interfere. Ubaldo Efraim kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of Atlético Nacional booed when GUSESI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Refugio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Armando Estevez notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of GUSESI's Jean-Luc Ettori. Jean-Luc Ettori was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruben Cayo took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fermin Santos. Fermin Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Efren in the 71st minute of play forced GUSESI's goalkeeper Jean-Luc Ettori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Luc Ettori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Precioso in the 72nd minute of play. Jean-Luc Ettori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Refugio in the 78th minute of the match. In the 83rdth minute of the game Armando Estevez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GUSESI's Jean-Luc Ettori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelo Joseph hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The supporters of Atlético Nacional booed when GUSESI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Cayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Ignacio Confesor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean-Luc Ettori was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Fermin Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Cayo in the 92nd minute of play. Angelo Joseph hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th match minute, GUSESI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Ekhi to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Atlético Nacional players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
