Spectators: 7503 (Terracing: 5628, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Tomás Cerqueira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Patrício Poças ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christer Hansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Raimundo Delgado was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Harry Galle capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Harry Galle really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Adam Karlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA VIOLA's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Karlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Garanhão do SUL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LA VIOLA:s goal. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for LA VIOLA. Alf Andersson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Raimundo Delgado. 2-1. Raimundo Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Andersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alf Andersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Raimundo Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Moutinho. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Cerqueira during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomás Cerqueira hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Raimundo Delgado was a little too slow when Alf Andersson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 3-1. 29 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Cerqueira came free, but Christer Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Karlberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Raimundo Delgado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 32nd minute, Adam Karlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garanhão do SUL's Raimundo Delgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Garanhão do SUL from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the game, LA VIOLA's Adam Karlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimundo Delgado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Casper Bremming got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Gonçalo Lobo fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garanhão do SUL's protests and gave Gonçalo Lobo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of LA VIOLA booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Delgado made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Adam Karlberg sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Karlberg was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Catarino Correia hit a great ball. Filinto Coelho's late challenge caught a LA VIOLA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filinto Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, one of Garanhão do SUL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Garanhão do SUL. Raimundo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. Xavier Vale replaced Tomás Cerqueira. 76 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Lobo came free, but Christer Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 80th minute of the match Filinto Coelho completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Filinto Coelho a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 79 minutes into the game, one of Garanhão do SUL:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alf Andersson walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Adam Karlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christer Hansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Vale in the 90th minute of the match. Christer Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Vale in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Moutinho. Raimundo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. In the 99th minute, Göran Jernberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the LA VIOLA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
