Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Arnaldo Lopes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, AFC - Curitiba's Tomás Donato got a free kick in the 4th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Lopes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Saverio Soin kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Arnaldo Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Goren, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Arnaldo Lopes was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Jorge Goren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The audience was convinced that Jorge Goren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Lopes was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Uzuri in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
