When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Lucas Paio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Krisztián Pál to make any attempt to save it. In the 10th minute, Béla Antal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Andrashida fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 15th minute, Péter Tulipán ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciro Aimar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Lapachito were furious when Orlando Tajo was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 23rd minute, Orlando Tajo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Kálmán Szaniszló managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andrashida's supporters rose to their feet, but Kálmán Szaniszló was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Aimar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Lapachito getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lucas Paio hit a great ball. Ciro Aimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balázs Görög, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Péter Tulipán recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Béla Antal kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesus Tiso was the one to do the kick off. Balázs Görög kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Ernesto Chepe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Krisztián Pál showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Teo Leheren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lapachito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andrashida the free kick. In the 54th minute, Teo Leheren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Balázs Görög fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Aimar having to interfere. Balázs Görög recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Lapachito's Ciro Aimar got control of the ball when Péter Tulipán tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Lapachito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Montrell to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Lapachito defense, Kázmér Rácz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Aimar. The Lapachito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Aimar should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Chepe during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 69 minutes into the game, one of Lapachito:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Péter Tulipán got free with Ciro Aimar in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciro Aimar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Péter Tulipán in the 77th minute. Ciro Aimar was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Péter Tulipán capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Péter Tulipán really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Jesus Tiso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Andrashida's Péter Tulipán ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciro Aimar. Ciro Aimar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Jesus Tiso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Lapachito fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Andrashida were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
