Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorato Mikeldi stood somewhat misplaced when Fulgencio Bieito came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 11 minute. Placido Mercurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Txurio in the 15th minute of the match. With his leg Honorato Mikeldi managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when La France FC's Fulgencio Bieito fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fulgencio Bieito had several of the Darkness's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Honorato Mikeldi as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 20 minutes, Elvio Gonsalve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La France FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Gonsalve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Bieito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Mikeldi was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Honorato Mikeldi was a little too slow when Elvio Gonsalve got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 4-1. Placido Mercurio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicasio Dei went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Honorato Mikeldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulgencio Bieito to make the kick off. Honorato Mikeldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Bieito in the 59th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulgencio Bieito in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Mikeldi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Bieito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Mikeldi was relentless in the 61st minute of the game.
