In the 4th minute Ronnie Lott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Lesardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pink Floyd's Fernando Gartxot got a free kick in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Todd Swenson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severiano Lesardo. Pink Floyd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Todd Swenson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tommy Cabrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alvaro Innocenzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Keene having to interfere. If Ronnie Lott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Pink Floyd got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Gartxot. When Damaso Rivas fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pink Floyd's protests and gave Damaso Rivas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pink Floyd's Damaso Rivas got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 37th minute Todd Swenson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Lesardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Creekers booed when Pink Floyd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Todd Swenson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creekers's supporters rose to their feet, but Todd Swenson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severiano Lesardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Todd Swenson sped through Pink Floyd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Severiano Lesardo. After the first half Creekers were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Innocenzio was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Pink Floyd got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Rivas. In the 59th match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Cabrera to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Alvaro Innocenzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pink Floyd's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Innocenzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney Keene breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Cabrera hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Todd Swenson got free with Severiano Lesardo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronnie Lott in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Lesardo saved Pink Floyd from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Christopher Goss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Pink Floyd fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Creekers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
