A collision led to Club Atlético de Newell getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ben Powell hit a great ball. Mike Scargill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Resto, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Knight during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tommy Knight kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético de Newell's zone, Guillermo Iaki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mike Scargill came out of the goal and Guillermo Iaki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the game, Guillermo Iaki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mike Scargill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Iaki in the 23rd minute of play forced Club Atlético de Newell's goalkeeper Mike Scargill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Black Sky FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Iaki. After having played for 29 minutes, Guillermo Iaki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Sky FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Iaki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Kasey Gobey fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético de Newell's protests and gave Kasey Gobey a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Kasey Gobey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mike Scargill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Iaki in the 44th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Aureliano Resto notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Club Atlético de Newell's Mike Scargill. Mike Scargill was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillermo Iaki was the one to do the kick off. Guillermo Iaki in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mike Scargill, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Guillermo Iaki scored 0-5 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mike Scargill, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the game, Club Atlético de Newell's Ollie Bright nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Seb Newman charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seb Newman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético de Newell's Seb Newman got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Club Atlético de Newell's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Resto came free, but Mike Scargill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leigh Stevens hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute of the match, Serafin Mateo sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Mike Scargill showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Guillermo Iaki struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Mike Scargill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Sky FC. Pascual Eutor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mike Scargill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Resto in the 90th minute of play. Joey Leighton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Marques having to interfere. Ben Powell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ivan Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Club Atlético de Newell booed when Black Sky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. Black Sky FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
