Perthes United's Moïse Mouton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Kaelin in the 3rd minute of play. Elia Delfs took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moïse Mouton. Moïse Mouton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 7 played minutes Perthes United got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Courcelle. 8 minutes into the match, Perthes United's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Delfs came free, but Moïse Mouton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Olympique Fribourg's Hampton Schmidiger got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes, Perthes United's Michaël Dubuis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chris Lang came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Perthes United reached it. Moïse Mouton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benny Kaelin in the 21st minute of the match. Billy Loy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Chris Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If César Latil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Courcelle came free, but Chris Lang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Olympique Fribourg booed when Perthes United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre-Antoine Bouaziz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Elia Delfs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympique Fribourg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elia Delfs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moïse Mouton didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Olympique Fribourg's Elia Delfs shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Moïse Mouton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Kaelin in the 38th minute of play. Herbert Courcelle hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When Valentino Staldegger fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympique Fribourg's protests and gave Valentino Staldegger a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Perthes United booed when Olympique Fribourg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentino Staldegger didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when César Latil made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Elia Delfs put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Moïse Mouton. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elia Delfs in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moïse Mouton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Elia Delfs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moïse Mouton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benny Kaelin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ralf Bianco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moïse Mouton having to interfere. Elia Delfs received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Moïse Mouton came out and tried to block the shot, but Elia Delfs slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 72nd minute. Herbert Courcelle hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes, Olympique Fribourg's Hampton Schmidiger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Moïse Mouton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olympique Fribourg reached it. Olympique Fribourg were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Perthes United's much stronger midfield.
