After some careless play in the FC Brzesko City defense, Mariano Gorosti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Tscherner. The FC Brzesko City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Tscherner should have stopped the shot. Jaime Havier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Cetnar, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Adolfo Policarpio kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 27th minute Nestor Erdiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Tscherner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Tscherner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Gorosti, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Jaime Havier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernard Banas. Ziemowit Ziomkowski's late challenge caught a Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ziemowit Ziomkowski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Brzesko City's Ziemowit Ziomkowski got a free kick in the 45th minute. Mariano Gorosti scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leon Tscherner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Independiente were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilbert Cetnar made a kick off. Leon Tscherner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Erdiano in the 57th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes FC Brzesko City got a freekick which was hit by Borys Zaremba. Nestor Erdiano kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 60thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Brzesko City's keeper Leon Tscherner was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Amador Gustau got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Jaime Havier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Domalik in the 68th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Borys Zaremba during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Brzesko City's Borys Zaremba got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Pacorro in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Brzesko City's goalkeeper Leon Tscherner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Nestor Erdiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Tscherner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Cetnar came free, but Jaime Havier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Independiente players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
