The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when Hartmann Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 3 minutes of play, Wambalamba FC's Gernando Gerber made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesinha Tande was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Dinei Goiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesinha Tande was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 8th minute, Gugu Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Fabinho Quadros notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hartmann Futebol Clube's Cesinha Tande. Cesinha Tande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Richard Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Peres having to interfere. After 16 minutes of play, Hartmann Futebol Clube's Wilian Corrêa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rômulo Peres was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Hartmann Futebol Clube booed when Wambalamba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belmiro Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rômulo Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hartmann Futebol Clube's Cesinha Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Soares in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Gernando Gerber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wambalamba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After a rather tough play, Hartmann Futebol Clube's André Luiz Amaral got a free kick in the 37th minute. Hartmann Futebol Clube's Cesinha Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Gerber in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gernando Gerber stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gernando Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesinha Tande having to interfere. Cesinha Tande made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Dinei Goiano sent off a good shot on target. Rômulo Peres came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Hartmann Futebol Clube's Wilian Corrêa. But to his dismay, Wilian Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 61 minutes into the game, Hartmann Futebol Clube's Gugu Coutinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rômulo Peres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Dinei Goiano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cesinha Tande came out and tried to block the shot, but Dinei Goiano slotted it home off the left post making it 3-5 in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wambalamba FC's zone, Wilian Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo Peres came out of the goal and Wilian Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when Hartmann Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rômulo Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 94th minute, Wambalamba FC's Gernando Gerber ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cesinha Tande. Cesinha Tande yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-6.
