The referee ignored Hartmann Futebol Clube's protests and gave Lúcio de Queiroz a yellow card for diving instead. Jean Toledo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Doni de Andrade made a precise shot to the right of Cesinha Tande. Hartmann Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Leonardo Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute of the match Lenílson Torres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesinha Tande skillfully saved the ball. Lenílson Torres's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Cesinha Tande - 1-2 was put on the score board in the 34th minute. Humberto Mangueira took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesinha Tande. Cesinha Tande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Cesinha Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hartmann Futebol Clube's Cesinha Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Mangueira in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Coutinho came free, but Sebastião Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Hartmann Futebol Clube's Cesinha Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Silveira in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Gugu Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hartmann Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Gugu Coutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastião Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cesinha Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doni de Andrade in the 96th minute of play. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ played a much better game than Hartmann Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Hartmann Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
