Benito Lauro was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Humberto Mangueira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Humberto Mangueira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Ambrosio Acosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juventus FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 35th match minute, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Pitta to maneuver through the defense. Benedito Bastos hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Sebastião Faria came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by C A U's Fulgencio Raitin. But to his dismay, Fulgencio Raitin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Placido Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sebastião Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Placido Mundo was the one to do the kick off. Fulgencio Raitin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Sebastião Faria made a huge save. In the 65th minute, Délio Vargas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G.E. Juventus FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 71 minutes into the match, Délio Vargas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Lauro. C A U's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Délio Vargas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Benito Lauro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Paulo Pitta went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Sebastião Faria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Raitin in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Doni de Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Lauro. C A U's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doni de Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Dito de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Benito Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Ado kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Damian Ado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the C A U defense, José Paulo Pitta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Lauro. The C A U fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Lauro should have stopped the shot. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
