A collision led to Catarinense F.C. getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Abelardo Lauaxeta hit a great ball. After 11 played minutes, Little Big's Håkan Holmberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Little Big reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Quintyn in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvin Stenkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Catarinense F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Catarinense F.C.'s Sixto Quintyn looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 57th minute, Tadeo Abilio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After 77 minutes of play, Catarinense F.C.'s Sixto Quintyn made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvin Stenkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sixto Quintyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin Stenkvist having to interfere. Edvin Stenkvist was a little too slow when Sixto Quintyn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-5. Stig-Ove Lidman lost his temper 90 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Little Big fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Robustiano Calixto shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A hard shot 94 in the game by Sixto Quintyn from a close distance when the talented Edvin Stenkvist managed to make a qualified save. Little Big's players were relieved. The Little Big supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Catarinense F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Catarinense F.C..
