In the 15th minute Mieszko Kochowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martijn Meys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Sebbe Thielens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mieszko Skrzypiec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Damazy Merski fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piast Choszczno's protests and gave Damazy Merski a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Piast Choszczno got a freekick which was hit by Damazy Merski. Mieszko Skrzypiec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Louis De Loose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martijn Meys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Czech in the 29th minute of the match. Martijn Meys made an important save on a dangerous shot by Borys Barycz in the 31st minute. Jean-Louis De Loose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Mieszko Skrzypiec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Piast Choszczno booed when Dalmore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Louis De Loose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimitri Huvenaerts charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dimitri Huvenaerts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Dalmore getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Dimitri Huvenaerts hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Dalmore's goal looked a bit too open when Mieszko Kochowski came free, but Martijn Meys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 65th minute, Roland Japola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martijn Meys was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Dalmore's Dimitri Huvenaerts got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucjan Czech's late challenge caught a Dalmore's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucjan Czech helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Piast Choszczno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Czech to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th match minute, Dalmore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Louis De Loose to maneuver through the defense.
