Nuno Pais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in DPD FC's zone, Conrado Ledesma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Pais came out of the goal and Conrado Ledesma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute Baldomiro Berriotxoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes, Baldomiro Berriotxoa made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. DPD FC's Nuno Pais tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. DPD FC's Nuno Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Hurko in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DPD FC's Belchior Valadares got a free kick in the 30th minute. Baldomiro Berriotxoa might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Pais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomiro Berriotxoa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Bernabe Bide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, ViCeNzA's Emiliano Quinito got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nuno Pais. Emiliano Quinito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Nuno Pais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Hurko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Jairo Setúbal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomiro Berriotxoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
