The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Setúbal to make the kick off. Mikhail Ivanchuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Aleksandr Goncharenko lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Nuno Pais. 73 minutes into the match, DPD FC's goalkeeper Nuno Pais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aleksandr Goncharenko. Aleksandr Goncharenko hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Курск ФК defense, Tarcísio Calçada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anton Boyarintsev. The referee showed Ernest Ganulich the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Курск ФК getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ernest Ganulich hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Zinoviy Aksenov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikhail Ivanchuk in the 90th minute of the match. Курск ФК's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
