A collision led to AC Mayonnaise getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Erik Hellkvist hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernandinho Baptista during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alf Törnkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st match minute, AC Mayonnaise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Törnkvist to maneuver through the defense. Christian Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Östen Walroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doriva Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Östen Walroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva Silveira in the 33rd minute of play. When Alf Törnkvist fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Mayonnaise's protests and gave Alf Törnkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AC Mayonnaise's Alf Törnkvist got a free kick in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AC Mayonnaise's zone, Christian Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Östen Walroth came out of the goal and Christian Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of AC Mayonnaise booed when ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kjell-Arne Lindberg hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Doriva Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Östen Walroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Edmund Runberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Mayonnaise's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ the free kick. Edmund Runberg kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doriva Silveira to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Noel Saldanha got a free kick in the 55th minute. Kjell-Arne Lindberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Délio Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Törnkvist in the 58th minute of play. Délio Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Törnkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, AC Mayonnaise's Stig-Arne Ödman got a free kick in the 60th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Christian Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Christian Alves notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AC Mayonnaise's Östen Walroth. Östen Walroth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Hellkvist in the 69th minute of play forced ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s goalkeeper Délio Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik Hellkvist during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
