The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Mateo Libertad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sajones F.C.'s Camilo Acevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Libertad got free with Gavino Bras in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 15 minutes Sajones F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Natalio Polentzi who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Yaji FC's corner Natalio Polentzi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Quinten quite easily take care of the ball. Gavino Bras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Libertad's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Libertad in the 19th minute of play forced Yaji FC's goalkeeper Gavino Bras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Yaji FC's Adolfo Cordera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Quinten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 22 played minutes Sajones F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Ler. Nunez Danel's late challenge caught a Sajones F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nunez Danel helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Danel. Emanuel Xabier charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Xabier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Yaji FC booed when Sajones F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Xabier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Quinten came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Yaji FC's Prospero Francesco. But to his dismay, Prospero Francesco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jonas Lalla hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Yaji FC's Gavino Bras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Libertad in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Sajones F.C. got a corner. Yaji FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeremias Ler ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sajones F.C.'s Jeremias Ler was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gavino Bras in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Prospero Francesco kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 34 played minutes, Sajones F.C.'s Jeremias Ler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gavino Bras came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sajones F.C. reached it. Gavino Bras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Libertad's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. The audience was convinced that Mateo Libertad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gavino Bras was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Emanuel Xabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Camilo Acevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sajones F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Acevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavino Bras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 52 played minutes, Sajones F.C.'s Jeremias Ler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gavino Bras came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sajones F.C. reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateo Libertad in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Bras saved Yaji FC from getting behind. Jonas Lalla's late challenge caught a Sajones F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After 63 minutes of play, Sajones F.C.'s Mateo Libertad made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavino Bras was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateo Libertad took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Bras. Gavino Bras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 75 played minutes Jonas Lalla rounded Sajones F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. In the 80th minute, Camilo Acevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yaji FC's Gavino Bras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Libertad in the 82nd minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Mateo Libertad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavino Bras. Yaji FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateo Libertad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Prospero Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, Sajones F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Ler to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Julio Quinten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rdth minute of the game Camilo Acevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yaji FC's Gavino Bras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute Sajones F.C. were awarded a corner. Jeremias Ler went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Sajones F.C.'s corner Jeremias Ler fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gavino Bras quite easily take care of the ball. In the 95th minute Mateo Libertad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Bras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
