Desiderio Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Amorim in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, Floresta Negra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Almir Carneiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Filiberto Ascencio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. If Lucas Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nereo Pacifico fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Rose 1979's protests and gave Nereo Pacifico a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Nereo Pacifico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 played minutes Black Rose 1979 got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Ipar. Aquiles Belasko charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquiles Belasko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Aquiles Belasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desiderio Alvarez came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Negra FC's Horácio Sabóia. But to his dismay, Horácio Sabóia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Floresta Negra FC's Fernandinho Araújo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Black Rose 1979. Desiderio Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Couto in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Almir Carneiro came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Black Rose 1979's Placido Richie. But to his dismay, Placido Richie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Lucas Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desiderio Alvarez made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Zé Paulo Couto sent off a good shot on target. After 59 played minutes Black Rose 1979 got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Ascencio. After 60 played minutes Black Rose 1979 got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Firmo. In the 61st minute, Fernandinho Araújo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Black Rose 1979's Desiderio Alvarez didn't even have to move. Aquiles Belasko hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Lucas Amorim reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Desiderio Alvarez. The goal made the score 3-2. Placido Richie scored 4-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Almir Carneiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Almir Carneiro came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Rose 1979's Placido Richie. But to his dismay, Placido Richie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Dieguinho Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Alvarez having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play Black Rose 1979's Nereo Pacifico was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Floresta Negra FC booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Pacifico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horácio Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Black Rose 1979 booed when Floresta Negra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandinho Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desiderio Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Couto in the 90th minute of play. Zé Paulo Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Alvarez having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Black Rose 1979 were victorious despite being under pressure from Floresta Negra FC for much of the match.
