Black Rose 1979's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that András Hámori was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. SÉ SE's Árpád Kossuth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Belasko in the 13th minute of play. SÉ SE's Árpád Kossuth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save SÉ SE from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Black Rose 1979 booed when SÉ SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mátyás Csank didn't get a good kick on the ball. Árpád Kossuth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Mátyás Török notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Black Rose 1979's Desiderio Alvarez. Desiderio Alvarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to SÉ SE getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Sándor Tököli hit a great ball. Black Rose 1979's Desiderio Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mátyás Török in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, SÉ SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pál Pulai to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute of the match Norberto Medardo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Árpád Kossuth showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, SÉ SE's András Hámori got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 45th match minute, SÉ SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mátyás Csank to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Szél in the 48th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Desiderio Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, András Hámori put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Desiderio Alvarez. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Pueblo during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anastasio Pueblo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Placido Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Árpád Kossuth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 played minutes SÉ SE got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Szőnyi. Árpád Kossuth came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Rose 1979's Placido Richie. But to his dismay, Placido Richie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Carlos Malvin charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Malvin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Desiderio Alvarez made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Albert Szél sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute Carlos Malvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Árpád Kossuth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Albert Szél cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Desiderio Alvarez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Carlos Malvin came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Black Rose 1979 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Malvin couldn't finish the play. Desiderio Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Szél in the 89th minute of the match. When the match was over SÉ SE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Black Rose 1979 throughout the match.
