The Los Tatangelos fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Los Tatangelos's Ahmet Ziya Ulubek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ahmet Ziya Ulubek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Tatangelos's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Ziya Ulubek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Graham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerrod Hope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Ziya Ulubek, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Antonia Webb kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Abdulhamit Sahat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Graham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 played minutes Sport Lisboa e Benfica got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm MacDonald. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Ziya Ulubek in the 97th minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Jerrod Hope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
