Spectators: 7727 (Terracing: 5796, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mogel Gordo kicked off to start the match. Jean da Silva came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Mogel Gordo. But to his dismay, Mogel Gordo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hílton da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Innocenzio Alcalde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Nóbrega in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton Nóbrega in the 17th minute of play forced ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Innocenzio Alcalde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Aírton Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brasilino's Jean da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Fariña in the 25th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Brasilino's goalie and right to Teyo Vana. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Brasilino's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Pedro Luís Coutinho hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Teyo Vana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Innocenzio Alcalde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Fariña came free, but Jean da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mogel Gordo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match Claudinei Leal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Innocenzio Alcalde skillfully saved the ball. In the 40th minute, Teyo Vana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Aírton Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Innocenzio Alcalde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Nunez Ugartondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aírton Nóbrega was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Nestor Fariña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean da Silva was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 56th minute, Mogel Gordo made a precise shot to the right of Jean da Silva. Brasilino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The supporters of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ booed when Brasilino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nunez Ugartondo in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the match, Nestor Fariña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jean da Silva. Brasilino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nestor Fariña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After some careless play in the Brasilino defense, Nestor Fariña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean da Silva. The Brasilino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean da Silva should have stopped the shot. After 81 played minutes ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ got a freekick which was hit by Beremundo Arzuriaga. In the 83rd minute, Wanderson Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Innocenzio Alcalde was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Innocenzio Alcalde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aírton Nóbrega in the 86th minute of play. When Gabino Briones fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s protests and gave Gabino Briones a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabino Briones to maneuver through the defense. Rodriguinho Abreu's late challenge caught a ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodriguinho Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Brasilino's Rodriguinho Abreu got a free kick in the 95th minute. Brasilino's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
