After 10 minutes of play, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Rodolfo Enaut made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felipe Santos Borré was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aristides Prejun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Recife in the 15th minute of play. Felipe Santos Borré made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Enaut in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the game, Luisinho Vargas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ the free kick. Alfonso Betadur kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Felipe Santos Borré made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Enaut in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hortêncio Recife was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Felipe Santos Borré, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Enaut cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Alfonso Betadur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Felipe Santos Borré tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Esteban Cai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Santos Borré saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Armandinho Vander took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Aristides Prejun to make any attempt to save it.
